Had redfish fillet. Two pieces on the plate as small as fish fingers. Not at all. Expect better from Fiedler. Not again.

Everything that has to do with fish is here. Whether fresh, frozen or smoked and all delicious at reasonable prices. Bremerhaven's showcase fishing port is already worth a trip, especially right Fiedler's smokehouse. My recommendation: Prawns from wild catch without shell. A delicacy.

There was today cod fish. We have rarely eaten so badly. The fish was very dry (dead) and crumbled downright. We have never experienced that with you. And do not want to repeat it. Just on the coast you expect something better. !!

The "Räucherdiele" is a self-service restaurant with fresh fish, breaded, fried or deep-fried. You order, get a beeper and pick it up at the counter. Very inexpensive for Bremerhaven standards. Large portions of freshly caught fish honestly prepared. Add a "Haake Beck" and the world is fine.

Rough start when I was the last customer of the night and the staff was ready to go but they agreed to serve me when I agreed to not order a steak. I came for fish anyways....so no bigee...typical German service right.... boy did they knocked it out of the park with a fantastic meal and extraordinary creme brullee for dessert. And they warmed up to the funny american who was thrilled with the food.
